Komarivci village is located 8 km from the city of Bar. It is surrounded by lakes and forests which captivate with their beauty. The breath-taking landscapes invite to take a bath or a walk in the forest.  

Valentyna can show you places which are rich in mushrooms, wild berries and herbs. Fishermen will be happy to hear that she can organise fishing by the local or a hired pond. For those who wish, she will arrange boat, britzka or wagonette trips.  

 

She will introduce you to the local artists - Mr. Stepan and Mr. Leonid – as well as to grandma Ganna Makarivna, who tells interesting stories off the top of her head.

 

In the evening, you can sing to the accompaniment of bayan played by Mr. Mykola and feast. The hostess sings beautifully herself and knows a lot of traditional, Ukrainian, folk, as well as contemporary songs. She is also an extremely talented cook, who knows traditional recipes of Ukrainian dishes baked in an oven. She even bakes bread and cakes. Guests can watch her work and learn if they please.
